Sandrine Holt (born Sandrine ho) was born on November 19, 1972 in London. The daughter of a Chinese father as well as an French mother. As a young girl the family relocated from the Chinese region to Canada. Prior to her acting career, she modeled at Paris for a modeling job on the catwalk. In the 1991 film Black Robe, she made her film debut as Annuka. For this role she was nominated in her role in the Genie Award the Canadian Oscar. Rapa Nui Rise to Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas followed with guest roles for her in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force, Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension and Dance with the Murderer. For John Woo s The Thief she was an integral part of the series over 22 episodes. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation was then followed by Resident Evil Apocalypse in 2004. Both are accessible on DVDVHS. Her debut series role was 24 Twenty Four. Holt began her acting career by playing minor guest roles as well as series roles. The year 2013 was the first time she was cast in the role of Hostages as the main character Hostages and was also cast as a supporting character on the Netflix series House of Cards. The Returned, The Returned, the US remake of The Returned, Holt played Julie Han. She was also cast in the role of Dr. Bethany Exner in 2015.
