Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in A Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Other roles she has played include Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. Her passion for acting in the Preparatory school, after which she moved to Ohio with her family in late 1970s. The actress attended the British American Drama Academy and pursued a degree in theater at Northwestern University. Anna was a part of Chicago's theatre for several years, before taking on film and television roles. Anna's first major role was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She made an appearance in 29 episodes. At the beginning of 1990, she appeared as a regular guest on TV and in films including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. In 2000, she was given the role of Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler was her role in Breaking Bad. Sully The Deadwood film and other films included her. Gunn performed on stage in order to appear in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. Also, she appeared in Numbered Days, a show made up of four plays.
