Dina Meyer is a New York native who was raised in Forest Hills Queens. She moved to Dix Hills Long Island just when she was finishing her senior high school. Her two brothers are Gregory the elder brother of her, and Evan. The first time she was in the world of entertainment came when she did some modeling between the ages of nine and 16. The beginning of her acting career was in The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She was studying the techniques of Sanford Meisner with Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among other actors to receive this kind of training. The first time she was cast as an actress was in the soap opera Beverly Hills, 90210, which required her to move away from Los Angeles. Her first role was in Johnny Mnemonic. She did all of the stunts in this film, which helped establish her as an athletic as well as an actress. Through her agent who also manages Matt LeBlanc she scored a part as a guest on Friends.
